ADN Mechanical

The owner of ADN Mechanical wanted a logo for their HVAC company. They specifically requested that the American flag be included in the logo. My first draft in Adobe Illustrator was very formal and structured. I placed a serif font within the stripes of the American flag. While the client liked the text embedded within the graphic, they wanted the logo to represent heating and cooling. I loved the idea of incorporating a flowy, whimsical design to their logo, but struggled to find a combination that allowed me to keep the American flag. After looking up HVAC units, I decided to try mimicking the wind currents. Naturally, the colors came to me as I realized the cooling (blue) and heating (red) match the colors of the American flag.
